The Nurses was founded by three moms who each faced our own challenges in the newborn stage. Whether it was a lack of family support, moving to another state during COVID, navigating colic and CMPA, or becoming a first-time mom to twins—we all felt the overwhelm, the exhaustion, and the isolation that comes with being a new mom.

However, we had something many families don’t: over 12 years of experience as labor and delivery nurses. We knew there had to be a better way to support moms during this life-changing season.

Together, we combined our professional expertise and personal experience to create a night nurse service that feels different.

As we grew, we carefully brought on close friends and trusted coworkers—nurses we know, respect, and would trust with our own babies. Every nurse on our team has been handpicked by us.

For over a year and a half, we’ve been proudly supporting families across Long Island and the surrounding areas.
